Buyers Guide

Every horse on our property and offered for sale by Diamante Equestrian is owned by us. We do NOT do any consignment sales. We find these horses, own them, evaluate them and offer them for sale. That is our business and that’s why the horses are offered for sale. 

 

Pre purchase exams are at the buyers expense. There are MANY great vets in our area that we do not use so there is no conflict of interest. If you are doing a vet check it must be done prior to the horse leaving our facility. If you need assistance finding a vet I can also help you. Some of our horses do sell with a PPE already done. A copy of it is available upon request and if the horse has one we will ALWAYS write it in the sales ad for the horse. 

 

Buyers are more than welcome to come to our farm to see the horse and try the horse. You are welcome to bring your trainer. We have an indoor arena, outdoor arena and 31 open acres to ride. We sell many horses sight unseen but that is the decision of the buyer and we never tell people not to come. Please do not come if you have no intention of buying a horse because that is a waste of everyone’s time. 

 

All horses will leave here with a valid coggins. 

 

With the market the way it is we highly recommend a deposit but we will never push a buyer to place a deposit on a horse. If you do place a deposit on a horse than we do hold the horse for you for 5 days. While a horse is under deposit we do not show the horse to any other potential buyers. If there is no deposit placed the horse the horse is for sale to ANYONE. A horse is ONLY held on deposits. Deposits are 10% of the selling price and they are NON-REFUNDABLE, no exceptions. The deposit is always put towards the purchase price. 

 

A PPE must be done within 5 days time. We can extend this by a few days if the vet is unavailable in that time frame for some reason. If a PPE is performed the balance is due on completion of the PPE and within the 5 day deposit window. 

 

Once the horse is sold we will charge a boarding fee of $50.00 a day. Which includes full care. This is not applicable to horses under deposit only for the 5 day period. 

 

If we are aware of any health issues or concerns, they will be mentioned prior to purchase. We buy and sell horses. Some horses we have for days, some a week, some for a month and some for months. I’ll happily tell you how long we have had a horse in our possession. We try to keep every horse a minimum of 30 days to put them through our evaluation process so we can evaluate training, suitability and soundness. We strive to offer high quality beginner safe geldings and thats what we are known for. 

 

All sales are FINAL no exceptions. There are NO money back guarantees, refunds or exchanges under any circumstances. 

 

Every horse we sell has updated pictures and videos. We do not sell any horses off of old pictures and videos. None of our pictures or videos are edited so look at them closely to see exactly what the videos and pictures show. We are always happy to do more pictures and videos by request and if you’re seriously interested. 

 

We sometimes offer transportation locally for a fee. I also have a long list of great licensed and insured transporters that I will happily give any buyer the names and numbers to. I can happily assist with setting up transport. 

 

Every horse leaves here with a signed bill of sale by both seller and buyer. These must be signed in person, by email or by fax. A horse is not to leave the property without a signed bill of sale. Our horses leave here brushed, bathed, sometimes braided and with a halter and lead

ONLINE AUCTIONS

 

We consign some of our horses to quality online sales throughout the year. 

When a horse is consigned to the sale we will provide you with the online site of the sale. You are always welcome to come and see the horse prior to the sale.  Most of the horses we consign do sell with a recent vet check already done by us. When a horse is consigned to the sale it will NOT sell prior to the sale and must be bought through the sale company. Horses that are consigned to sales are NOT available to be held by a deposit. When the sale takes place it is fair game to anyone who wants to bid. Below are examples of the horses we have sold through online sales and auctions.
