Take a look at this guy. Meet Orca a 6 year old, 16.0 hand black and white draft cross gelding. Here’s one that’s really different and sure to get noticed. A great size, a great build and all the color a person could want or need. Two crystal blue eyes and very uniquely marked. If safe is your top priority here’s one to not overlook. Orca is as safe and quiet as they come with much more whoa than go. He does walk, trot and canter. He has one of the nicest canters I’ve seen on a draft cross in a very long time. He actually has a really nice rocking horse lope and will lope right off from a stand still on the correct lead every time. His gaits are smooth, comfortable and balanced. Orca is beginner safe, husband safe, guest safe and would be a great asset to therapy program or mounted patrol. I really don’t think anything phases him. He’s also a great age. Not to young and not to old with his whole life ahead of him. This gelding rides English and western and rides both just as well as one another. He has no preference and is a very go with the flow kind of guy. He takes a joke and slows right down for a rider that’s very unbalanced and even comes to a stop. Neck reins, direct reins, stands at the mounting block, has good brakes in a snaffle and backs. Orca is great in the arena and he is also great outside. Completely road and car safe. Leaves the farm with no hesitation and is not buddy or barn sour at all. Rides out on the buckle without a worry in the world. I really don’t think he’s a horse that has any tenseness in his body. He’s super chill and just as quiet and easy to ride as they come. Safe for the whole family to ride, enjoy and handle. Orca is also a great asset to a disabled veterans program and he is the perfect size. Very stout and 16 hands but not overly huge. Orca is barefoot with excellent hooves and he picks his feet with no issue and holds them up. You don’t have to be a big man to pick his feet. He will pick his feet for anyone that asks and he holds them up without being wrestled. I see a lot of drafts and draft crosses that just don’t pick there feet and he is not one of those. A very easy keeper that stays fat on air. 100% sound, no maintenance and no vices. A very easy horse to live with, handle, own and ride. An all around pleasure to have around and own. Orca is up to date on everything. His tail is not docked his previous home had a few farm animals who thought the end of his tail looked more appetizing than grass or hay so yes it’ll get long once again.
